Island of Brač and whole Middle Dalmatia are characterized by very favorable climate. Temperature in January lies on an isotherm 7C in an  area with distinctive  Mediterranean climate, a mild mostly moist winter and a dry, hot and sunny summer.

Temperatures in Bol

This area is one of the sunniest parts of the central and northern Mediterranean characterized by an extremely bright sky with about 2700 sunny hours per year and daily average 7,3 sunny hours per day. 
In summer it raises to 11,3 hours , 7,4 in spring , 6,3 in autumn…More than 100 days are over 25C, and more then 50 days above 30C. 
This favorable climate and the flow of warm sea currents have an influence of the high temperature of the sea  with summer average 22.6 C. 

Winds in Bol

Local and seasonal winds also help maintain favorable climate. Among them there is very strong northern wind called bura, moist yugo ( southern wind ) and maestal – local wind from west that makes life easier in hot summer days and that makes Bol paradise for wind- and kitesurfes.
