Annual conference of tourism workers Croatian Tourism Days held in Bol on the island of Brac from 21st to 24th October tourist destination Bol won award as champion of tourism in Croatia.
Among these Bol won other awards:
- Bol the best tourist destination in the category of tourist destinations having 5000 to 10000 beds
- Zlatni rat - the second place on the list of the best Adriatic beaches in 2009.
Also Hotel Bretanide Sport & Wellness resort won second place on the list of the best 3-star hotels in 2009.
Addressing
the closing ceremony of the Croatian Tourism Days in Bol on the island
of Brac on Friday evening, Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor described the
tourist trade as one of pillars of the Croatian economy, as evidenced
by the last tourist season. The premier congratulated Tourism Minister
Damir Bajs and the head of the Croatian National tourist Board (HTZ),
Niko Bulic, and all other employees in this sector for what she said a
well-done job this season.
