Sightseeing in Dalmatia

In Split - if You want to do all sightseeing You will need a few days - there is Diocletian palace that You shouldn't miss as well as the ancient Salona, a few kilometers away from the the center of Split. From Split you can daily visit all dalmatian islands Brač, Hvar, Vis, Šolta. You can visit many
 ational parks taking dailiy excursions ( National park Plitvička jezera, National park Krka, National park Kornati, National park Mljet) and the other holiday resorts on the coast ( Makarska, Brela, Baška Voda, Primošten,Rogoznica...). In the center of Split You will find sandy and pebble beaches that are very popular among tourists and locals. Famous Split beach is Bačvice beach.

In Split there are many coctail bars and restaurants. In Split You have great possibilities for entertainment . There is Split summer festival with performances, concerts and operas. Also there are clubs and coctail bars specialized for house music, rock, jazz and other mainstream music.

Holidays on Island of Hvar in Central Dalmatia

Hvar is great for relaxation and entertainment. Center of the island is town of Hvar. There are wellness centers in the hotels in the town of Hvar. There are great clubs in Hvar as Carpe diem open late in the night. Hvar island will also offer You some of the best sites fer scuba diving on Adriatic. Also there are long routes for biking.  
Don't miss to buy some lavander oil or lanavder flower  - Hvar is world wide known for its lavander fields.


For the total relaxation  You should decide to spend Your vacation on the St. Klement island (called also Palmižana island, one of the Paklenski islands). On the Paklenski islands arrival is possible only with the boat and there are no cars nor roads, just beaches, bungalows and restaurants.
There are great restaurants in Hvar that will offer You great food - fish and shells, as well as the great local wines . Try fresh fish on grill and local wine.
If You are for vacation in the destination with less tourists visit some other destinations as Jelsa, Ivan Dolac or Stari grad on the island of Hvar.
From Hvar island You can have daily excursions to Bol on the island of Brac, island of Vis or Korcula.

Holidays on Island Vis in Central Dalmatia

On the island of Vis You will find unspoiled nature in many private coves and beaches. You will meet friendly locals, try to go fishing with fishermen.
Don't miss to try lobster, to visit Fisherman museum in the town of Komiza.
On the island of Vis You can also scuba dive looking for the sank ships and amphora under the sea surface.

Holidays on Island Brac in Central Dalmatia

On the island of Brac You can visit Bol - town that offer a lot for everyone. In Bol there is the most popular croatian beach - Zlatni rat - pebble beach that changes it shape due to the wind and sea currents. But there are many other beaches and private coves on the southern coast of the island Brac.
In Bol there is great conditions for kiteboarding and windsurfing as well as for the other recreation.
There are about 25 clay tennis coarts as well as the kilometers of the cycling routes.
We reccommend to try domestic lamb in restaurants in Bol as well as famous wine - Bolski plavac.
