Lumbarda island Korcula

Lumbarda is a tourist place on the southern cape of the island of Korcula, about 5 km away from thetown of Korcula.

A picturesque landscape, the scent of Mediterranean plants, olive-groves and vineyards of ther famous wine ''Grk''.

Lumbarda offer great number of sandy beaches as well as the various accommodation. A wellspreaded coast abounds in sandy beaches, and in front of Lumbarda, twenty small islands, are waiting for you. The stones of old citadelas and villas speak about its beauty. The archaeological inscription ''Lumbardska psefizma'' from the 4 th century B.C. testifies the settlement of Greek colonists a long time ago.
