Split is the largest and the most important town in Dalmatia. It was developed around the palace which was erected
by the Roman Emperor Diocletian in the 4th century.
Sightseeing includes a visit to the well preseved ancient cellars, Cathedral that was built on the remains of an
ancient shrine and Jupiter's temple.  
In the palace You will notice little houses and flats, shops and cafes.
